 Odete is the Creative Director and Owner of Artistex Salon & Spa specializes in styling and coloring. With more than 26 years of experience, she has honed her skills and developed a coloring formulation system that ensures accurate and consistent results for every client. Odete's expertise in coloring extends to all aspects, making her a proficient professional in this field.
 

Passionate about art, Odete supports various forms of artistic expression within her salon. She opens up her space as a gallery for local artists, showcasing their work and fostering creativity within the beauty industry. Her commitment to innovation is evident in her continuous effort to be an influential figure in the beauty industry and Executive Board Member and Co-Founder of CT Beauty Association.
 

In addition to her role as a salon owner, Odete has achieved notable accomplishments in her career. She is an award-winning colorist and serves as a NYC Goldwell Academy Artist, showcasing her talent and expertise in hair styling and coloring. She has also worked as an editorial hair stylist, contributing to various publications and projects. Furthermore, Odete is a lead hairstylist backstage for different stages during New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks, demonstrating her ability to create stunning looks for the runway and high-profile clients and events.

 Jaime a Master Stylist at Artistex; is a highly skilled and experienced hairstylist with over 20 years in the industry. She has honed her craft as a blonde specialist, highlighting and balayage expert, and is known for her exceptional haircutting and coloring skills. Her expertise has made her a go-to hairstylist for many clients, including those in the fashion industry. Jaime works backstage at New York Fashion Week, creating stunning hairstyles for some of the New York's top emerging designers.
 

As a loyal and professional stylist to her clients and of Artistex for over 10years, Jaime prides herself on providing honest and consultative services to her clients. She takes the time to listen to her clients' needs and desires, and works tirelessly to ensure that they leave her chair looking and feeling their absolute best.  Introducing our talented and passionate hairstylist, Daianny! Long-time hairstylist of Westport for the past 16 years and 22+ years of experience in the industry, Daianny specializes in curly hair, gray transition, haircutting, coloring, keratin services, blonde coloring, and more. She's known for her funny, welcoming and professional consultation style, and her dedication to providing her clients with the best possible service.
 

As a curly hair specialist, Daianny understands the unique needs of curly-haired clients and is skilled in cutting and styling techniques that enhance and embrace the natural texture of your hair or how to best go about taming your locks. Whether you're looking for a sleek and polished beautifully blown-out look or a more relaxed, effortless style, Daianny has got you covered.

Michaela, a Licensed Cosmetologist since 2021, has always had a passion for beauty and helping others look and feel their best. Inspired by makeup and hair, she decided to pursue a career in cosmetology. Michaela attended a reputable cosmetology school, where she gained the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in her chosen field.

She has since continued to expand her expertise by obtaining various certification in beauty, along side becoming BARBICIDE® Certification and BARBICIDE® COVID-19 Certification. This demonstrates her commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for her clients while providing exceptional service.

Michaela’s specialties include makeup, blowout styling, hair and scalp health, which she believes is the foundation of any beautiful hairstyle and is always looking for new techniques and trends to incorporate into her offerings. As she continues to grow her business, Michaela plans to expand her services even further, ensuring that her clients always have access to the latest and greatest in hair care.

Michaela’s faith plays a significant role in her life. She believes in the power of inner beauty and strives to help her clients feel confident and radiant from within. One of her favorite verses, Matthew 11:28 (NIV), reads, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” This verse serves as a reminder that true beauty comes from within and that self-care and relaxation are essential for overall well-being.

Jim has been practicing massage therapy since 2003 in Westport. He trained at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington Connecticut.  Swedish, deep tissue, pre-natal, and hot stone massage are a few modalities that he excels in. Jim has also trained in various medical massage techniques over the years that he incorporates into his sessions when he feels that they can be beneficial to his clients.  Whether you would like a relaxing massage or addressing pain issues needing relief, with an extensive amount of experience and patience, Jim is the massage therapist that may best resonate with you!

It is our pleasure to announce that Anna, a popular and long time Massage Therapist of Born of Earth Spa is returning to Artistex Salon & Spa starting every Tuesday from 9:00am - 6:00pm. Anna is a certified and Licensed Massage Therapist for over 20 years. She has a strong technique method specializing in sports massage, deep tissue and hot stone therapy. Often customizing the massage using her own methods, combining various techniques to achieve results for her clients needs for pain management and relaxation.
